Not all sons turn out like their fathers. Instead of taking a warrior's path, Melinar Dol'shir turned to sculpting.

A resident of the city of Tor, Melinar's renown reputation has landed him the chance of a life-time: sculpt a grand statue depicting one of Tor's "Fathers of Freedom."

But Melinar's task is not what it seems and he finds himself dealing with a mysterious courier, outlawed magical objects, and a being stranger than those found in myth.
