He's an orphan and his Aunt, an elf that has always cared for him, has never told him the truth of his origins. But when the sudden arrival of a mysterious ship with a ragtag crew reveals that there may be more to him than he's ever been told, tragedy strikes his home. Everything Valrin knows is torn apart.
