Bad Cupid

After centuries of relationships, Nakt knows every hue of red flag. The cupid doesn't mind encouraging love when she sees it; humans falling in love can be kind of cute. But her job has become unbearable as she's forced to prolong relationships which should have ended years ago. The pressure to pretend that all romances are wanted and beautiful is too much, and Nakt can't take it any longer. And if she hears "true love is..." one more time, she's going to scream.

Finding a sanctuary on Earth helps release tension, for a while. She's able to find someone willing to listen to her problems, someone who becomes her only friend - Sebastian. But as they share their problems and give each other advice, Nakt realizes that the only way to truly change things is to go against the orders being given. It's time for a revolution.

Snap the gold and load the lead. Nakt must stand up against the higher powers and fight for her right to be a good cupid. But as she leads a one-cupid rebellion, she realizes she might not be as alone as she thought, and there's a chance for a better world.
