The aftermath of the confrontation with Yip of Yore and Ell"Hakan still lingers as the fight for the Milky Way Galaxy approaches its end. With the biggest threats dealt with, only the Holy Church and its schemes, as well as whatever remnants of Ell"Hakan’s faction, remain active threats before the galaxy is truly claimed.

Once everything is concluded and the galaxy is in a (relatively) stable state, Jake looks beyond his own galaxy, as he has many places in the universe he’s been looking forward to visiting. By what is surely sheer coincidence, the Order of the Malefic Viper also happens to be planning a diplomatic mission to the Pantheon of Life, and who’s more qualified to be the mortal representative in such an important endeavor than the Chosen of the Malefic One himself?

Because Jake had always proven himself to be a real savant when it comes to diplomacy and won’t just spend the majority of his time there doing alchemy and invading their hunting grounds... right?
