Michael Curtis Ford is an American historical novelist known for fiction set in ancient Rome and Greece. Drawing on a wide-ranging background that has included work as a laborer, ski patrolman, musician, banker, Latin teacher, and translator, he brings both breadth and classical knowledge to his writing. In addition to his novels, he has written numerous articles on ancient military history. He lives in Oregon with his wife and their three children.
