Megan Giddings is an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota. Her debut novel, Lakewood (Amistad, 2020), was named one of the best books of the year by New York Magazine and NPR, and was a finalist for two NAACP Image Awards and the 2020 LA Times Book Prize. Her second novel, The Women Could Fly (Amistad, 2022), was named a New York Times Editors’ Choice and one of the best fantasy books of the year by The Washington Post and Vulture.
