Proserpine and Midas, composed in 1820 while the Shelleys were living in Italy, is a collection of two plays written by famous Romantic era writer Mary Shelley and her husband Percy Bysshe Shelley for children.
Mary wrote the blank verse drama and Percy contributed with lyric poems to the work.
Whether the plays were ever intended to be staged is a point of debate among scholars.
