Waters of Caprica

Water can be more powerful than fire. I'm back at the palace, surrounded by luxury and being offered a life most girls dream of. Dresses in every color of the rainbow, an extravagant room with three maids to look after my every desire, a handsome, rich, soon-to-be king to adore me.

Yet, I want none of those things. Especially not the guard that stands outside my door, keeping me imprisoned and making it nearly impossible to search for Jack. Nearly.

He's injured and I haven't been allowed to see him since that last night at Langosa's. I don't know where Vane is hiding him, but Jack trained me well and I'm confident in my abilities to get around the guard. And with a little surprise help from a former foe, I'm certain to locate and free him.

If I can just find Jack and cure the fever, I might finally be able to put Caprica behind me.
