James Cahill is a novelist, art writer, and academic whose work bridges contemporary art, classical scholarship, and fiction. Born in London, he has spent much of the past decade working in the art world and academia, with writing on art appearing in publications including The Times Literary Supplement and The London Review of Books. His debut novel, Tiepolo Blue, was shortlisted for the Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award and praised for its intelligence, sensuality, and insight into the art world. He lives in London.
