Publisher Description

Apparently, when I crash a party, I crash it in singular style…My name is Cal Thorpe, and I am a Grim Reaper.

When I receive an invitation for the coronation of the new ruler for the former tribe of my assistant, Yolanda, I accept with the intention of showing them how wrong they were to throw her aside. Literally.

Upon arrival, though, I am met with Yolanda's half-sister Katrina, a tiny griffin named Tempest, and the news that the new ruler, Eddie, is going to try his very best to bring war to Yolanda's people.

Now, not only do I have to prove how amazing my assistant is, but I have to trick Eddie into revealing his intentions so he never gets crowned. Only, I've never been very good at political machinations. I'm a marketing agent. And all the attendees are treating me like I'm the most powerful being in the room.

Perhaps annoying Eddie into oblivion wasn't my best plan. Because, as per usual, things go downhill from there.

My characters tend to not fit the standard protagonist mould; they're not the strongest, the most powerful, the loudest. They have their own problems to deal with and end up in the middle of things because they want to help people, or by mere accident.
