My life as an adventure librarian is risky. Hunting for witches’ books, fending off carnivorous plants, and dealing with irritating patrons are all part of the job. But the worst is finding out my fairy godmother didn’t die of natural causes.

She wouldn’t want me to risk my life finding her murderer, and my sensible side agrees. My vengeful side screams for a target for my throwing knives. But no one can know my wild half exists.

The murder clues lead me through portals to fascinating and perilous realms. At my side is Voros, the sexy bounty hunter I hired last month who sneaks into my thoughts far too often.
