Dennis Carstens is a legal thriller author and former attorney who draws on real courtroom experience to write grounded, character-driven fiction. A Minnesota native, he was born in Worthington and spent most of his life in the Twin Cities. He earned his BA from the University of Minnesota and his JD from William Mitchell College of Law, and is a U.S. Air Force veteran. Known for sharp dialogue, layered plots, and a dry sense of humor, Carstens writes stories that aim to be entertaining, realistic, and thoughtfully contemporary.
