Very quickly, events move out of her control, and she finds herself on a journey that she could not have imagined.

She is shocked to find herself face to face with the horrors of the Crimean war and meets both Florence Nightingale and the Jamaican nurse, Mary Seacole. Separated from her brothers, Lucy is forced to make decisions based only on her own moral code in the hope that they will lead her to safety and success.

'Stuck 1855' is a standalone story and is the fourth book in the 'Stuck' series. The series is an enjoyable and informative read, full of drama with a sprinkling of humour and features adventure stories that blend fiction with actual events and people.
