Who doesn't love an adventure? They can be even more enjoyable in your imagination than in real life because there's no risk of twisting your ankle or picking up a splinter! Who doesn't like history? You have to because it's the story of what makes you what you are today.
So, after a career as a textile designer and lecturer in Printed Textiles in UK Art Schools and Universities, I left that all behind in search of new adventures. My first foray into the writing world was the historical time travel 'Stuck' series. I wanted to create the kind of stories that I would have liked to have read as a child.
I'm currently having fun writing the 'Rebel Runaways' series, which features the kind of adventures I would like to have had as an adult!
We can but dream - I try to get them down in words!
