Clipped - easily readable with fast-moving stories focused on characters and their interactions.

2

Where did you grow up and did this location influence your writing in any way?

I grew up in the 1960s. Reading was our main source of entertainment.

3

What kind of reader were you as a child?

My brother is much older than me. He had an extensive science fiction and fantasy collection. Those are the books I read. My mother had a huge Harlequin Romance collection. I did not read those.

4

Anne McCaffrey

L. Ron Hubbard

David Weber

Andre Norton

Robert Heinlein

6

What is one book you repeatedly gift?

Moar for the Roarasaur - a children's book that I wrote for my grandchildren.

7

Of all the characters you've penned, who has been most influenced by your personal story?

Rick Banik which is funny as that's one of my worst-selling series.

Battleship Leviathan. That one has best resonated with the readers, too.

9

My office is also a bedroom. There's a bed behind me where my dog Stanley sleeps while I work. I have a 32" curved monitor and my notebook driving it. Two screens with lots of space.

10
