Spy Ask Not

Godfrey has been transferred to Captain Taylor's command. Here he must grow into a new role. He becomes involved with behind the lines intrigue and grows to command an insertion patrol.

The sparring between the Montereyan Empire and the Salish Republic grows to open conflict on the California/Oregon border. For the first time the Salish Republic feels the military might of the strongest political and military nation in the western hemisphere.

As the disagreement escalates into open conflict, other people's stories of heroism, survival and death get swept into the conflagration. Godfrey interacts with a whole new group of people.

The spy, Dorothy, who discovers the timing of the the Empire's attack. Rosa, who transfers from General Intelligence to Military Intelligence. Captain Taylor, who becomes the spider controlling the various webs of Intelligence intrigue.

After Dorothy is discovered, and her cover blown, it is up to Godfrey to get these disparate people back to friendly lines before the Montereyan counter-intelligence can take them.
