Team Seven is behind enemy lines working its way towards its target. They suspect, but don't know, that they've been betrayed, and that their target, a Sioux shaman, knows they're coming and has a trap set for them.

This confrontation tests the shaman's supernatural abilities versus the Team's scouting skills. The manpower of the Sioux nation versus the stealth ability of Team Seven.

The deep seated need that Sylvie has to finish the mission successfully and go home to discover who set them up.

Sylvie and Cyrus learn early in their mission that they're being followed. Early events have them wondering who they can trust.

Sylvie has had an encounter with this shaman before, and is familiar with the territory. She leads her team into danger, not knowing if there is a betrayer on the mission with them, or whether the shaman knows the path they are taking and is ready for them.
