The Inheritance is a tense murder mystery and thriller rolled into one that will really keep you on your toes. Others have described the book as Succession-meets-Agatha Christie, and it’s perfect for fans of Lucy Foley!
I am a big fan of Janice’s books and her signature mixed-media style, so this one was a must read for me!

Yet some strange events occurred in the days leading up to their disappearance; a murdered man pulled from a river, an eccentric couple who claimed to be led by a spirit guide, a mysterious new pub quiz team… And so another mystery must be solved!
It’s always such fun getting involved in a new Janice Hallett mystery, and I will always recommend her books. This one is fiendishly clever and was an instant bestseller. No surprises
there!
