Cutter Grogan wanted a vacation. Colombo had other plans.

Cutter wants to put his feet up, sip drinks and watch the world go by in Colombo. Then an American tourist dies. Local police rule it a natural medical death. The family back home doesn’t suspect anything but want a private investigator they trust to confirm the details. They find Cutter. He agrees. It should take a day.

Instead, he finds people who don’t want questions asked. The kind of people who'll shoot first and ask questions later. What begins as a favor turns into a moving target. He is the target. He has to keep moving to stay alive.

He didn’t come to Sri Lanka looking for work. But once he starts asking questions, there’s no walking away. He's the right man for the job. Trouble is those hunting him, those that he knows of, are many... and he's on his own.
