Tove Alsterdal

Tove Alsterdal is a Swedish crime writer and journalist. She is the author of the High Coast series, beginning with We Know You Remember, which won the Best Swedish Crime Novel of the Year and the Glass Key Award for Best Nordic Crime Novel. Her earlier stand-alone thrillers, including The Disappeared and Buried in Silence, also received wide acclaim. Known for her lyrical style and layered character work, she often explores social and historical themes through suspense. Alsterdal grew up in northern Sweden and worked as a journalist and playwright before turning to fiction.
