Elle Reynolds is thrilled to be back in Paradise, Colorado doing what she loves best, teaching first grade. But she's less than thrilled to discover the uncle and guardian of her favorite student, is none other than Mitch Logan, foreman of the biggest ranch in the valley. Mitch is the rodeo cowboy she left at the altar ten years ago after a whirlwind romance.

When his niece is injured in a riding accident, it's Elle who steps in to assist with private tutoring. Mitch is wary of Elle and with good reason.
