Vigor Mortis

Deep in the ground. That's where the dead were supposed to be. Unfortunately, it seemed they hadn't gotten the memo.

Zombies had risen from the dead and swarmed through the city, slaughtering everyone in their path, rendering it a ghost town in a matter of days. A ghost town populated by the rapidly increasing numbers of the undead.

The situation was beyond dire, but somehow a small handful of unlikely survivors managed to ride out the initial outbreak. A motley group joined together by one desire. To live. That, and if at all possible, to kick some serious zombie ass in the process.

The situation was grim and getting worse, but there was a very real chance for escape. A sliver of hope. All they had to do was survive long enough. But the way things were going, whether they could achieve that goal was anyone's guess.
