The Beginning of the End

Neiaphi's journey is unlike any other interplanetary travelers. Instead of being blissfully instantaneous due to cryostasis, her experience is filled with vivid dreams and nightmares. When she awakens, she expects relief, but her nightmares become a harsh reality.

The story explores an alternate history in which Atlantis exists as an outpost on a penal planet rather than the pinnacle of human society. Ancient mythologies are reimagined as tools for controlling the minds of a condemned people.

Neiaphi's father, a mid-level Official, leads a small group from Romota on a perilous mission to the Krill Colonies. As they navigate a treacherous alien landscape, they race against time to reach a fabled City, pursued by the oppressive Society. With the odds stacked against them, they must find a way to overcome their adversaries and uncover the secrets of this mysterious world.
