Just another day in paradise… Now that the entire town knows who Clara is unofficially related to, she's even more of a social pariah than before. To make matters worse, the spell keeping the town guarded and safe is failing. Naturally, it's her fault. But that's not all.

One of the mysterious strangers Clara met before has revealed his heritage and made it very clear he doesn't want her around. And not in the get out of town way. More in the permanently neutralized sort of way.

With her newly embraced magic acting up, her child collecting spirits like they're candy, and her allies questioning whether they can win this new fight they're up against, Clara has her hands full. To make things worse, the dragons show up, curious about the town's hidden leader and the strange power he's been hiding. The dragons were tentative allies before, but with major secrets about to be revealed, Clara might soon have one more enemy on her tail.

Even for the Vampire Queen, these shenanigans might be too much for her to handle.
