Summer in Harmony, Maine, means sunshine, gossip, and the annual canoe race—a quirky tradition that usually brings the town together in friendly competition. But when a big-shot television producer turns up dead before the first paddle hits the water, sister witches Mag and Clara Balefire find themselves navigating straight into another murder investigation.

The police write it off as a tragic drowning, but the Balefires know better. Someone wanted this producer silenced, and they're not about to let a killer slip away downstream.

The canoe race was meant to put sleepy Harmony on the map with its first-ever televised coverage. Now, with camera crews swarming and suspects in every direction, the sisters must separate small-town gossip from cold-blooded murder while paddling faster than ever to catch a killer. Add in suspiciously stormy weather that reeks of magical interference, and Mag is convinced their favorite chaos agent, Hagatha Crow, is stirring both the skies and the pot.

Clara just wants to make it through one summer without getting wet.
