Peter Orullian is an American fantasy author, composer, and performer whose work is deeply shaped by music. Alongside writing novels and short fiction, he has toured internationally in rock and metal bands, released multiple albums, and founded the symphonic rock group Symphony North. His fiction, including The Vault of Heaven, often uses music as a driving force in worldbuilding and magic, and he has also written concept-album novelizations for Dream Theater. He has collaborated with Brandon Sanderson on developing The Strata Wars series.
