Peter Cameron is an American novelist and short story writer whose work first appeared in The New Yorker in the early 1980s. His books include The Weekend, Andorra, The City of Your Final Destination, and Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You, several of which have been adapted for film. Cameron has also taught writing at institutions including Columbia, Yale, and Bennington College.
