Oliver Carman is the author of Out of Shadows, his debut grimdark fantasy novel. A composer and former band member—briefly playing with Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs (Oasis) and Mike Joyce (The Smiths)—his music has received international recognition.
His love for fantasy was reignited in 2012 after discovering Joe Abercrombie and George R.R. Martin. He lives in Cheshire with his family and lectures in Music Technology.
