In the 1980s, Shawn Glazer and Jack Pruit traveled the US fighting monsters and homophobia. Jack passed away when their daughter was very young; to keep him alive in their daughter’s memory, Shawn recounted their odd adventures to Celia, including encounters with strangers—some of whom became friends but, more often, dangerous enemies:
