Publisher Description

To find the light, sometimes you have to step into the darkness.

A young man journeys deep into the Amazon jungle to find his lost father and the answers to his past.

Tuichi's original screenplay is a journey-film mixing romance and hair-raising adventure against the astonishing backdrop of South America, from the golden beaches of Rio de Janeiro to the thick jungles of the Bolivian Amazon.

After many years of no connection, Burke travels to Brazil to meet his father who has left him as a child. When the father doesn't show up for the meeting, Burke decides to seek and confront him once and for all.

Then he meets Carolina, a European tourist enjoying her last flirts before her fiancé joins her for their early honeymoon in South America. Burke and Carolina fall madly in a lustful, dependent love, and as Burke starts digging deeper in his quest, dark secrets from his father's life and from Burke's past start emerging. They all point in one direction: Tuichi, a treacherous river buried deep in the Amazonian jungle.

Burke sets off on a journey in pursuit of the missing father's trails. The time has come for him to choose between Carolina's demanding and crooked love and pursuing the answers from his past.

As the journey continues, Burke finds himself played by powerful forces that seek his father too for entirely different reasons, pushing him toward the unavoidable encounter…
