Cynthia Baxter only wanted to spice up her life with her fiance when she bought Raunch magazine's Fantasy issue. How could she know that in the middle of playing out a fantasy, her fiance would get called away and forget about her. And that she'd end up being rescued by her new neighbor, dark and dangerous Jake Wheeler.

Of course, Jake thinks she's an exciting, adventurous woman when nothing could be farther from the truth. Cynthia's an accountant at a cement factory who gets her hair done at Irene's House of Charm and her clothes at House of Tweed. But all that's about to change. When Jake asks if she'd be interested in working at a company he has under surveillance, a company that is short an accountant, she jumps at the chance to work undercover.
