A lifelong lover of fantasy, Megan Haskell devoured books as a child, venturing into lands of magic and adventure from the safety of her bedroom. It wasn’t until her career in accounting—during long train commutes—that she began writing stories of her own. Pen and paper soon gave way to a tiny laptop, and eventually her debut novel, Sanyare: The Last Descendant, took shape. The book went on to earn a Readers’ Favorite Bronze award in Adventure Fiction and become an IAN Book of the Year Award Finalist.
Inspired by her passion for entrepreneurship, Megan chose the indie publishing route, and has never looked back. Alongside USA Today Bestselling Author Greta Boris, she co-founded The Author Wheel, a community-driven resource that provides courses, books, and hands-on support for aspiring writers. Now a stay-at-home mom in Southern California, she balances family life with her love of storytelling, fueled by coffee and a steadfast commitment to helping others find their own author journey.
