Karla Sanchez is perfectly fine. At least, that’s the story she’s been telling herself for years. It’s been a year since Karla joined Fling, a new social media app for fans of romance novels, and met Daisy Evans. As online friends, they planned to meet at Weekend Fling, a convention hosted by the app in a quirky art deco hotel on Miami Beach. It doesn't take long for Karla and Daisy to bond in real life or to realize that their feelings for one another might not be completely platonic.

Their chemistry is instant, and it makes Karla wonder if their romance could be more than just a weekend fling. As their time together nears its end and they prepare to return home to separate states, Karla finds herself challenging the story she’s been telling herself…and realizing that a long-distance relationship is worth pursuing if it means she’ll get to keep kissing Daisy.
