Logan-Ashley Kisner is the trans+queer author of Old Wounds (a Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books’ Best Book of 2024). He received his BA in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (alongside a minor in Film Studies) and remains in Las Vegas with his partner, Alex, and their Sphynx cat, lovingly known as Chicken.
His novels focus is on seeing trans characters get the stories, the nuance, and the moments of terror and bravery they are long overdue for. Beyond his fiction work, Logan also serves as the informal transgender horror historian.
