The Life & Times Of Slim Goodie

Slim Goodie was once a respected narcotics detective with the N.Y.P.D, but after being caught up in a corruption scandal he's sent away to serve a lengthy prison sentence. When he returns home he finds out the world has moved on without him. His ex-wife hates him and his children barely know him.

Trying to put the pieces of his life back together, Slim applies what he'd learned during his years on the force and starts his own business. He's a Fixer, someone you go to for help when you can't turn to the police.

One night, Slim's estranged son Marcus shows up on his doorstep with a problem that only Slim Goodie can fix. Marcus is a good kid and star athlete, but has gotten himself involved with some unsavory characters who are threatening to ruin his basketball career. Eager to reestablish a relationship with his son, Slim Goodie steps to the plate to get Marcus out of his bind.

As Slim combs the streets of New York, in an attempt to help his son, he discovers an even bigger mystery hiding beneath Marcus' dilemma. It appears that Marcus isn’t as squeaky clean as he appears to be and the secret he's harboring threatens to ruin more than just his basketball career, it could cost him his life.
