Halfway around the world a top professional sniper practices for his latest kill. Who is his target and how does East Tennessee private investigator, Donald Youngblood, fit in?
After his adventures in Afghanistan, Youngblood just wanted to relax and heal. Boredom was fast setting in when Mountain Center Country Club golf pro, Tony Price, asked Don to sponsor him in his attempt to qualify for the PGA National tournament: an arduous two tournament process played months apart. Tony also wants Don's adopted daughter, Lacy, to be his caddie. Youngblood agrees, as does Lacy, and so begins a journey that could end up at one of golf's four major championships.
As fate would have it, Youngblood soon gets a new case. A local congressman, who is making a run for the U. S. Senate, is being blackmailed for a sex video that was made while he was in college. Youngblood must find out if the threat is real or a bluff. While investigating, Youngblood crosses paths with a wealthy mother whose daughter is missing and may be connected to the case. Agreeing to look for the daughter while investigating the blackmail, Youngblood has his hands full.
With the aid of a few old friends and a talent for finding trouble at every turn, Youngblood must solve more than one mystery and either one could get him killed.
