Beyond Floating

Muse thought her life had ended twenty years ago because, well, it had.

Existing aimlessly for twenty years as a ghost, she finds herself yanked along in a rip-tide of strange events.

Thrust unwittingly into the midst of a group of paranormal hit-men-for-hire lead by a warlock named Isaac, Muse has to do as she's told, or suffer for it.

Michael, a normally rational and righteous holy soldier of God, succumbs to revenge and hatred, sacrificing everything in the fight to kill Isaac and everyone who associates with him.

Muse, by virtue of her inadvertent association with Isaac, is on that list.

Muse slowly realizes that she is a piece in a larger game, with no inkling of the rules or even who the players are.

Any attempt to control her own movement seems blocked at every angle, until she is left to choose between the only two paths she has - life, or death.
