Kate Schatz is a queer feminist writer, educator, speaker, and activist best known for the New York Times bestselling Rad Women series and, with W. Kamau Bell, Do the Work: An Antiracist Activity Book. Her work centers justice, empowerment, and making history and activism accessible to young readers. In addition to her books, she has written essays, stories, and articles for a range of publications and speaks widely about social change, education, and advocacy. She lives in the Bay Area with her family.
