Kameron Hurley is an award-winning author and essayist known for her work in science fiction and fantasy, often exploring themes of gender, war, and resistance through visceral, genre-defying narratives. A two-time Hugo Award winner and finalist for the Nebula and Arthur C. Clarke Awards, her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Popular Science, and The Atlantic. Hurley is also a recipient of the British Fantasy Award and the Locus Award. She works as a marketing and advertising writer and currently resides in Ohio.
