Joseph Malik is the award-nominated author of Dragon’s Trail and The New Magic, acclaimed military fantasy novels known for their realism and cinematic intensity. Raised in a traditional Blackfeet Indian household in East Glacier Park, Montana, he draws on firsthand experience in combat, adventure, and craftsmanship to bring authenticity to his worlds. A U.S. Army veteran medically retired after serving with special operations units, Malik holds a B.A. in English from the University of Washington and lives with his wife on Puget Sound.
