When the dust settled after the Reaping, what was left of the world wasn't much. A rebellion barely in its infancy struggles to take their first breaths, Skane patrols roam unchecked and whispers of a growing evil touch every ear.

The Hill is helming an initiative to bring factions together. Godwin understands if humanity has any chance at survival, it's united. But she can't do it by herself. She needs heroes and the world is fresh out of those.

In her search, she'll turn to Gideon Gunn, a man with skills in his past to aid freedom's present. He's not her first choice, he's not totally sane but he does believe in justice and maybe, just maybe, that's enough.
