After twenty hours on the road, Ben Shaw just wants a good cup of coffee and to rest awhile, and Ravenwood seems like the picture-perfect town to just do that—until he runs into Police Officer Haley Perez. Seems like a local woman is missing, and Shaw can't resist the urge to get involved, even if Perez has other ideas.

It's been two weeks since the Eden Killer was apprehended, and Perez is taking compulsory stress-leave. But that doesn't stop her from being a cop. Begrudgingly, she teams up with Shaw to locate Bridget, and they soon find themselves beneath the town, in a labyrinth of old drainage tunnels, where something evil is lurking in the darkness.
