The Epic Joyride of Axel and Shay

Former child star and A-list actor Axel Dane doesn’t lack for women to date, but he’s convinced he’ll never find anyone who wants him for more than his money and fame. Following the wedding of his best friends, Ty Mays and Ivy Pless, Axel heads off to Slovakia to film his new motorcycle racing movie, determined to forget about love and enjoy his skyrocketing Hollywood success and all the perks that come with it.

Then Axel meets Shay Denning, an American traveler who is waitressing in Slovakia—and who miraculously doesn’t recognize him. It feels good to be treated like a normal person by a beautiful girl, so when Shay asks his name, Axel gives her the first answer that comes to mind—Ty Mays.

Shay seems to be interested in “Ty” for all the right reasons, and Axel finally feels like he might have a shot at a relationship not based on his fame. Shay seems to like Axel for who he is—the side of him she knows, at least—but the rest of his life is difficult to hide with paparazzi and adoring fans around every corner.

Will Shay still love Axel when she finds out the truth, or have his lies already ruined their chance to live happily ever after?
