Jamie Ford is the great-grandson of Chinese immigrant Min Chung, who settled in San Francisco in 1865 and adopted the name “Ford.” His debut novel, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, spent more than two years on the New York Times bestseller list, won the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature, and is widely taught in schools. An award-winning short story writer, he has contributed to numerous anthologies across genres. His most recent novel, The Many Daughters of Afong Moy, was a #1 IndieNext pick. He lives in Montana with his wife and their dogs.
