Jake Joy

Jake Joy began writing on an electronic typewriter he received as a Christmas gift in the mid-'90s and has been passionate about storytelling ever since.

Not all the stories from that early time have made it to the present, and for good reason, but those that have are works he is proud of. He invites readers to take a moment and explore those creations.

Born in the small city of Wells, Somerset, Jake spent his formative years exploring the fields and woods of the countryside. However, the arrival of a PlayStation shifted much of his attention indoors. Despite this, the early memories of running through the woods with his brothers continue to fuel his writing. The games and stories they played together have left a lasting impact, and characters from those games often find their way into his stories.
