Iris Kayan is a mum of 2 living in Prague, Czech Republic. She has always loved crime fiction and thrillers, and find magic irresistible, so it seems natural to combine the two into her Detective Lynx Wu series featuring a British Chinese detective. She is a foodie, and before she wanted to be a writer, she once wanted to be an artist. She now makes her own art for her books (mostly because she has no money) and dabbles in origami.
