Fractured Mates

I took my mate's life ten years ago, and now I'm paying the price. I thought when I buried Thane—literally—that the worst of my problems were over, but a decade later, and he's still haunting me.

When his father decides to finally seek retribution for his son's death, I'm back on the run. Worse, my pack can't protect me. Only I can take care of myself. At least that's what I tell myself until I meet another wolf shifter. One possibly as stubborn as I've become.

He promises to protect me, and as much as I try to convince myself he's only doing his job, the lines I'd previously drawn begin to blur.
