I write fantasy romance and paranormal romance with badass female leads and morally grey heroes who fall first. I can't go past a spicy enemies to lovers romance and I love creating epic romances with all the feels that may break your heart but will always put it back together.

I grew up on a dairy farm in regional Australia. The wide open spaces and starry nights inspired me to imagine worlds where magic is everything.

As a child, I was an unstoppable reader. I read every fantasy fiction book I could get my hands on at the public library.

If I could write like any other author, it would be Sarah J. Maas. To inspire the imaginations of readers like she does would be a dream. Her books enrich lives and bring readers together in an amazing book community.

I love so many authors! If I have to choose a top five... Sarah J. Maas, Carissa Broadbent, L.J. Andrews, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Helen Scheuerer.

Actually... I don't think I've ever given the same book twice! I like to first find out what someone loves and what might suit their mood at the time. It always results in something different. The last book I gifted was actually one of my own - the Dark Magic Shifters special edition to the cover artist who designed the cover for me.

This is a close tie between the main character, Tessa, in This Dark Wolf and the main characters in my latest book, Rogue (Assassin's Magic, Book 7). I wrote both books at times when the world felt dark around me, but these characters never give up, they battle for love and light, and they find their family.

Bright Wicked. It's a fae fantasy romance with star-crossed lovers, found family, battles against all the odds, and dragons. One of my favorite parts of the book is when the main character, Aura, forges her own path through the darkness she's facing: "Nathaniel and I are bound in more ways than by magic. More ways than battle and blood. We’re bonded to each other in truth and courage. In loyalty, compassion, and even in grief. We’re bound—terrifyingly—in hope."

I have a desk with calm blue and purple writing accessories, as color-coordinated as I could find :) For a long time, I didn't prioritize my writing space but after I became a full-time author, I realized I needed to create a space where the words would flow.
