E L James is a self-confessed fangirl and incurable romantic who left a 25-year career in television to pursue her dream of writing, resulting in the global phenomenon Fifty Shades of Grey and its sequels. Her novels, including Grey, Darker, and The Mister, have sold over 165 million copies in 50 languages. Recognized by Time and Publishers Weekly, her books have won numerous accolades, and Fifty Shades of Grey spent 133 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list.
