Donna Freitas is a Brooklyn-based author of fiction and nonfiction for adults, young adults, and middle grade readers. She is also a professor and researcher whose work focuses on sex on campus, Title IX, sexual assault, and social media. Freitas has spoken at hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide and has appeared on NPR, The Today Show, and other major media outlets. Her writing has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Los Angeles Times. She teaches in Fairleigh Dickinson University’s MFA in Creative Writing program and also works as a writing coach and consultant.
